Fuji Gas Carbon Neutral LP Gas [LP Gas × Forest Conservation]

Fujigas aims for carbon neutrality (net zero greenhouse gas emissions) as an LP gas operator while promoting forest conservation activities.

At Fujigas, we have started selling "Fujigas Carbon Neutral LP Gas" (FCN-LPG, commonly known as Mount Fuji LPG), which fully offsets the greenhouse gases generated during the combustion of LP gas. Using carbon credits created through the "Yamanashi Prefectural Forest Utilization Climate Change Countermeasure Project," we achieve net-zero greenhouse gas emissions from LP gas. In Yamanashi Prefecture, the profits from the sale of these credits will be used to promote sustainable forest management that considers further forest conservation and the preservation of biodiversity. As the number of properly managed forests increases, it will create a cycle that can prevent sediment disasters and contribute to disaster prevention. This FCN-LPG can be proposed nationwide and is available for various uses, including LP gas used with meters (for both residential and commercial purposes), LP gas used in small cylinders such as patio heaters, and emergency backup LP gas for generators, among other forms. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Fuji Gas Carbon Neutral LP Gas [Environmentally Friendly LP Gas]

We offer LP gas that fully offsets the CO2 generated during combustion!

At Fujigas, we sell our original product "Fujigas Carbon Neutral LP Gas (FCN-LPG)" utilizing domestically produced carbon credits and other resources. With the government's declaration of carbon neutrality by 2050, are you facing any challenges such as "I am unsure how to start reducing CO2 emissions in my company" or "I am working on CO2 reduction, but I cannot reduce the emissions from the LP gas I use"? FCN-LPG is Fujigas's original LP gas offset by "J-Credits" and other carbon credits that comply with the energy conservation law and the climate change law established by the government. By introducing FCN-LPG to your company, factory, or store that uses LP gas, you can effectively achieve a net-zero CO2 emission during LP gas combustion. 【Benefits of Introduction】 ■ Improved business evaluation and corporate value through environmentally responsible management, contributing to your company's branding ■ Leave the complicated paperwork for purchasing and offsetting carbon credits to us ■ Support regional revitalization through local production and consumption of credits *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

5. What is a "credit" for carbon neutrality?

Introducing information about carbon neutrality in a column! What is the difference between "compliance credits" and "voluntary credits"?

One area of focus for companies aiming for carbon neutrality is "carbon credits," isn't it? These credits can be broadly divided into two types: "compliance credits" (such as J-Credits) and "voluntary credits." First, "voluntary credits" are utilized for companies' voluntary initiatives and are generated from projects around the world, such as forest conservation and the introduction of renewable energy. They are issued based on international standards and are effective for enhancing brand value and engaging in transactions with global companies. On the other hand, if reliability within Japan is a priority, then "compliance credits" are the way to go. This system is operated by the Japanese government and converts the reduction or absorption of CO₂ through renewable energy and energy conservation into credits. The optimal method varies depending on the size, industry, and business content of the company. It is important to carefully consider the company's objectives and circumstances to formulate the most suitable "carbon neutrality strategy." At Mirai-F, we offer two types of credits: "compliance credits" that can be used for reporting CO₂ reduction amounts and emissions under the Climate Change Act, and "voluntary credits" for voluntary greenhouse gas initiatives. We provide proposals to help our customers achieve energy decarbonization.
